Rent a car for rideshare driving
No car? Approved LEFKO drivers can rent a car weekly at a discounted rate and start earning, keeping 80% of every fare.
What the weekly rent includes
Registration, regular servicing, roadside assistance and complimentary rideshare insurance are included. Each rental includes 1,000 km per week, with extra kilometres charged at $0.25/km.
Rent is deducted weekly from your nominated bank account or card under a direct debit agreement.
Rental terms and rent-to-own
Choose a minimum term of 3 months, 6 months or 1 year, or a 5-year rent-to-own term. The same conditions apply to every term.
Who can apply
You need an open, full Australian driving licence, a safe and clear driving record, and Australian citizenship or permanent residency. Student visa holders are assessed case by case.
Applications need your licence (front and back), passport, Medicare card, a credit or debit card, and two references.
Rental conditions
No smoking in the vehicle, keep it regularly cleaned, and report any accident or damage, even minor scratches. Drivers at fault in an accident pay a $2,500 excess.
